History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born in a small island village. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
