History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Dustin was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 3 years.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and to find somewhere to settle down

History: He was born into a rich family. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Barrister they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Weaver, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and an old rival family wants him found
