History: Born in the east to a Sage, Gerard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Dustin alone in the world.
