History: Born to a Map Maker, his father struggled to pay the bills. He worked as a nervous Stableman and found it very stressful. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His black hair is heavily combed to the left. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, William grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Description: He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination, and carries shortspears. He has shaved his head bald. His eyes are brown and beady.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nicholas fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Carter arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Carter for the past few years.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Bellfounder; and he is greedy
