History: He was born into a rich family. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Frederick was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His childhood dream was to be a Knight, but he was a colossal failure. He tends to his Banker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
