History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Spice Merchant father left him crippled. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age his father died while driving off some illithids.
