Shane Riley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears white robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a lance, but if one is not available he will default to his nunchaku. His hair is black and very short. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Shane was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and regain custody of his daughter
Ideals: Gifted. Flaws: Forgetful. Bonds: Mentor, Family. Occupation: Assassin

Alexandre Mitchell, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is in excellent shape and wears just a pastel suit. He sports a long blonde beard, and similarly colored long hair. His violet eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: Alexandre hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his music career. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: Alexandre was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Alex Washington, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears dull white sweaters, loose green pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed hand crossbow, just in case. He has done his best to style his blonde hair to look like a famous performer. He has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.
Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
Ideals: Optimist. Flaws: Selfish, Insane. Bonds: Military, Enemies. Occupation: Marshal
Voice: Boston accent
