Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Hunter never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

This search led him directly into Bowyer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bowyer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longsword.
