History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gerard was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He got into the Sailor business at a young age. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Sailor work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sailor work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Sailor for hire.
