History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Hugh wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His childhood dream was to be a Soapmaker, but he was a colossal failure. He has achieved small success as a Dyer.

Motivation: To be a Soapmaker again; and sabotage a competitor

History: Gifted from a young age, Simon studied abroad. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
