History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He uses divination through singing.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His parents enrolled him in a Warlock school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
