History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Beggar arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Cory was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Cory's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
