History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When Nicholas reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. After months of barely getting by, Randal managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Aldous was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Born to a Locksmith, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and expand his business
