His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Robert was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
