Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He takes great joy in being the best Merchant in town.

History: Born in the east to a Merchant, Gerard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He tends to his Beggar job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing his hectic life and new beggar responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Alex embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Alex was raised in a hard working conservative environment. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He's also a talented Spice Merchant, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To be a Spice Merchant again.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. His first spouse was a Merchant, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
