History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying east to reunite his family. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it; and many drow want him driven away

History: Conrad was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere.
