History: Born to a Fortune-teller, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Roland abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.

History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
