His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. After coming to the age of reason, Miles took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. History: Nicholas lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Nicholas was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Nicholas's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Nicholas and his spouse have recently divorced.
