History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.
