History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Bernard was born on a far northern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Marshal. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying east to reunite his family. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 4 years.
