History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Ernest was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

His ears are large.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was born into a rich family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His chestnut hair, when down, is lengthy. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. Simon is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A gifted student he started as a Ploughman, but he got bored and became a Fisher. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Fisher.
