He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.
