Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His auburn hair is knotted and matted. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Raymond was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Chad is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Chad lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
