History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Through the years after Simon was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Simon's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Simon fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gerard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. During his travels, Gerard and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Gerard discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Gerard fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born in a small island village. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
