Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Description: 6'5" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He tends to wear a black poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His green eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 60. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. After a long history of fighting, Alex and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Roland was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Mortician. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he seems to be bored by most things
