History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He became a Apothecary soon after.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Through the years after Roland was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
