History: He was raised in a desert tribe. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature falchion.

Personality: Adelard is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Adelard hails from a village terrorized by goblins. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Laborer. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To be a Cartwright again.

Personality: Richard speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
