Description: He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and white, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'1" when asserting himself. His golden hair is cut short. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: He is a Beggar first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.
History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Beggar. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: To be a Miller again; and he has a crush on the local miller

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized white coat. His hair is black and very short. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Reynard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Reynard and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Description: 5'0" and muscular, this western man dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His blonde hair is cut short. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He's also a talented Spice Merchant, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: To be a Spice Merchant again; and expand his business

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he typically wears blue cloth garments or leather armor. He has styled his white hair well, parting it to the left. His eyes are a pleasant violet.
Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Mercenary work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mercenary work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Tailor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: A deep hatred of goblins; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Spice Merchant arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.
Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and he has money and likes to spend it
