History: Born in the north to a Shipwright, Bernard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Layabout, but he got bored and became a Shipwright. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Layabout they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Shipwright, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Stylist arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bernard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He is a Guard first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Heward was born the youngest of three triplets. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Guard for the past few years.
