Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.
History: He was born in the west. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Farmer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Bowyer, and he later adopted a second son.

Heward Hayhurst, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He has a missing left arm. He wears grey robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a quarterstaff, but if one is not available he will default to his axe. His golden hair is heavily combed to the left. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Heward grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Now he works as a writing tutor during his time off.
Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.
Flaws: Cynical, Fearful. Bonds: Attractive. Occupation: Brewer
Voice: Sleepy voice

John Hornsby, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his greatsword, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a cross on it. His hair is chestnut and very short. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: To end his boredom.
Ideals: Persistence, Logical. Flaws: Ugly, Insane, Mundane. Bonds: Poor. Occupation: Detective
Voice: Soft and mumbly
