History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Through the years after Randal was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Randal's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Hugh was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Hugh never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
