Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left leg, he wears silk and lounges about seductively. His hair, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. He is baby faced.
Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Fortune-teller arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Description: An older man who is dressed in earthy colors with a black and grey handkerchief worn on his right side, he is not a threatening figure. His white hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady hazel eyes.
Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He found a children's book about a Human Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.
Motivation: He has a crush on the local Ploughman; and he's in love

Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. After a long history of fighting, Arnold and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Description: He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He carries a battered longsword and tarnished flail as well. He has a very tight haircut. He has amber eyes.
Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.
History: Richard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mayor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Richard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south.
