History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. History: Gilbert was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He got into the Sailor business at a young age. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Sailor for the past few years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Alex embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
