History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Jocelyn was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has never given up on his painting dream.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
