History: Born in the north to a Barrister, Hubert learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Barrister for the past few years.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cartwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 6 years.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Hugh alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability.
