History: Born in the south to a Doctor, Raymond learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature whip.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Born to a Shoemaker, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He works hard and plays hard.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing black cape and mantle trimmed with soft blue waves gently in the breeze. He is physically well-built. He has a red handlebar mustache and slicked back red hair. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and money/treasure

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His childhood dream was to be a Barber, but he was a colossal failure. He has taken up work as a Barkeep and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Motivation: To be a Barber again.
