History: Roland was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Percival was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
