Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, John embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he wants revenge against brigands

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Alex was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Adam was born the youngest of three triplets. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Miller they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Beggar, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Assassin but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He is a Doppelganger in disguise. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Dustin lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. After a long history of fighting, Dustin and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.
