History: Ralf was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Ralf abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Dustin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At some point he was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
