He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bather. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Spice Merchant they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Bather, and he later adopted a second son.
