Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Bertram was born the youngest of three triplets. Bertram liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. After a long history of fighting, Shane and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is a Tailor first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He became a Fortune-teller soon after.
