History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Aldous was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Aldous's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Description: This man stands a little under 6'2" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his lance with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He wears his red hair up. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: Born in the south to a Brewer, Shane learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Brewer for hire.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and balancing his hectic life and new brewer responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Detective hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: Standing 6'5", this man is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. Sporting a brown mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady hazel eyes.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A freak accident while working with his Barrister mother left him crippled. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and money/treasure

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. Patrick is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
