History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He was born in the east. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Priest they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Cook, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Born to a Bookbinder, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
