History: Born in the north to a Mason, Chad learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Norman hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Through the years after Norman was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Norman's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Norman and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Roland hails from a village terrorized by giants. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Roland was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: To protect his home; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
