History: He got into the Barrister business at a young age. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He struck the Barrister job and began his own company from there.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Theodoric was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Theodoric's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
