History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gunter was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: John was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Kody was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Armorer. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
