History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Randal's homeland. Randal decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Godfrey is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, William grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Guard born in the past three hundred years. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Guard work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
