His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is a great chef.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He found a children's book about a Human Bard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Hugh was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Gerard abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Dyer for hire.

Motivation: To be a Carpenter again; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: This malnourished man is dressed in an above average manner. His hair, while still mostly blonde, has prominent grey streaks. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Hugh was born the youngest of three triplets. His first spouse was a Marshal, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and regain custody of his son
