Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Ernest alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
