History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. Through the years after Lance was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Lance's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Lance and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Roofer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
